We feel prompted in the Spirit to give you a prophetic word this month that is critically important for where we are as a people and as a nation …
God is saying that this is a season where
we must know how to NOT JUST WAIT for victory to arrive,
we must know how to CLAIM our victory
when it doesn’t seem possible!
There are so many things in this world that can severely pressure a person to feel an overwhelming sense of defeat. Personal challenges, financial issues, social problems in society, and even persecution against our Christian values can wear upon our minds. These things can also take their toll on one’s physical health, mental well-being and even discourage our faith in the Lord.
Additionally, there is so much negative news being propagated across our nation now that can add to an overall sense of hopelessness. Mixing all that with the doomsday-focused crowd and you have the perfect storm of defeat!
But God Is Saying This Is NOT a Time to Shrink Back in Defeat!
It Is a Time to CLAIM OUR VICTORY!
Look at the familiar passage in 2 Corinthians 2:14 which says, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of His knowledge by us in every place.”
Notice that it says, God “always causes” us to triumph. This is a very important phrase to dissect. It says that God “causes” us to triumph. In other words, God enables us to have victory in the face of seeming defeat. He literally makes our victory happen!
Having this revelation is SO IMPORTANT! It is pivotal to walking in victory! We must try to keep in mind that God is “causing” our victory even when our circumstances are screaming eminent defeat.
We can be certain that even when things look bad—even when our situation looks dark and hopeless, God is setting up blessing, opening divine doors, overthrowing the enemy’s plans, and enabling you to accomplish everything He has put within you to do!
But this is NOT a season for us in which we can sit around and WAIT for victory to fall on us. We need to CLAIM VICTORY before we can see it with our natural eyes. We need to receive victory in our hearts inwardly, in advance of what we experience outwardly.
